Pink Aesthetics has significantly increased the speed of aesthetic procedures in our literature. When using the old method, we would shape the gums by cutting them with a scalpel. Pink aesthetics is generally applied to the gums of the front six teeth. Since the treatment area was large, there was a lot of bleeding. However, when we use a laser, we encounter almost no bleeding. This maximizes the patient’s comfort during treatment, significantly shortens the treatment time, and allows for more detailed work since there is no bleeding during the procedure. When performed with a laser, Pink Aesthetics transforms from a nightmare into a comfortable and enjoyable treatment.
Sometimes the ligaments connecting the lip to the gums, called the filtrum, are very long, causing gaps between the teeth in the upper jaw (diastema) and both gaps and gum recession in the lower jaw. This condition is genetic. It is a congenital condition. Again, thanks to the laser, we can easily get rid of this condition. In the past, cutting this ligament would cause significant bleeding, and we would have to keep patients at the clinic for an extra hour to stop the bleeding. Now, however, this ligament can be quickly opened with a laser and left to heal, and we no longer encounter issues such as post-operative pain or swelling, or any bleeding during the procedure.
