Here’s how it works: We take photos of your mouth from different angles using special techniques, and then transfer your smile into a digital environment. Your dentist then digitally applies all the planned treatments onto your photos.

These treatments can include a variety of procedures such as gingivectomy (gum reshaping), pink aesthetics (addressing gum appearance), zirconia crowns, feldspathic porcelains, veneers, and many more. The goal is to give you a clear, tangible preview of your final results before we start any actual work. We’ll adjust tooth lengths, choose the right shades, correct your bite, and aim for a result that’s as close to the golden ratio as possible, ensuring a harmonious and beautiful smile.

To perform effective smile design, a clinic must have a photo studio, and the dentist needs to be highly skilled in using a professional camera. This is crucial because for digital manipulation, the photos taken must be of high quality. We’ll be working with very small areas and applying significant zoom to the images, so photos taken with a cell phone are simply insufficient. Most computer photo editing programs won’t accept cell phone pictures for this type of detailed work, and those that do can’t process them adequately. Therefore, it’s essential to work with professional photographs taken from the correct angles using a dedicated camera.
