Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)

 

Root canal treatments performed with traditional, older methods used to take a very long time. However, thanks to technological advancements, the modern root canal instruments we use today have halved treatment times. In our clinic, old-style hand files have been replaced by technological rotary systems, significantly increasing patient comfort during treatment. With the necessary number of dressings, root canal treatments that used to span multiple, tedious sessions are now becoming a much easier procedure.

Sometimes, when root canal treatment needs to be redone, or in cases of teeth with lesions or teeth we absolutely must save, rotary systems are again used, supported by antibiotic pastes, to perform root canal retreatment with the help of technology. For challenging and non-healing tooth roots, laser-assisted root canal treatment allows for laser disinfection of the tooth roots, promoting the healing of the lesion.
