Malocclusion generally occurs when the jaw structure and tooth size are not fully compatible. When permanent teeth are lost at an early age due to decay or trauma, the position of the teeth at the back of the jaw may shift, and orthodontic treatment may be required.

In such cases, our dentist conducts an initial consultation free of charge and provides the patient with information about the treatment. Following the consultation, the appliances the patient will use are explained in detail with examples, after which treatment can begin.

Orthodontic check-ups should begin after the age of 7 in children, but it may be necessary to wait until around 10-11 years of age to begin treatment. For more detailed information, you can schedule an orthodontic examination appointment at our clinic.
